Handle typed enquiries from existing customers using a saved-reply library. Escalate rather than improvise when something is unusual.
- 3-hour blocks
- No calls
- Evenings
Four employer briefs that run in three- and four-hour blocks instead of full shifts. You nominate the blocks; the roster is built from what you gave us.

What is open
The block length is set by the employer and printed on each tile. If none of them fit the week you have, say so when you apply rather than forcing it.

About us
Employers bring us a brief they cannot easily advertise; applicants bring us the hours they can genuinely cover. RemoteTandem’s whole job is lining those two up honestly. We do not employ anyone ourselves, we do not take a cut from your pay, and we do not pass your details anywhere except to the employer whose brief you answered.

How it runs
Hours you can cover and which brief you are answering.
The full brief comes back to you on WhatsApp before you commit.
About two hours with the employer, notes kept afterwards.
You choose them; the employer confirms; changes go through the same contact.
The warning: applications that never send the WhatsApp message stall, because that is the only channel the employer brief goes out on. It is not a formality.
Applicant notes
“Three hours at a time suits me far better than a whole shift. I can do it after the kids go down and still sleep.”
Kate — Narrabri“I asked whether I could drop to one block a week during harvest. The answer was yes, in writing, before I started.”
Sam — Wee Waa“The saved replies do most of the work. I was worried I would have to think up answers on the spot.”
Leanne — Moree

Questions
It is not. Every brief here assumes you are new and the employer trains you before your first block. Being contactable during the blocks you nominated matters more than anything on a CV.
One block, if that is all you have. Most people land between fifteen and thirty hours, but there is no minimum written into any of the four briefs.
A computer that works and internet that stays up during your block. None of these four roles involve calls, so a headset is optional. Somewhere quiet helps more than anything technical.
Yes, through the same HR contact who sent you the brief. Nobody is locked into the roster they nominated in week one — harvest, exams and school terms come up and are dealt with.
The employer pays you on their own payroll schedule. RemoteTandem does not handle money between you and them, and takes nothing from your rate.
No. Not to apply, not to train, not to start. Anyone asking you for money in our name is not connected to us — report it to the contact email below.
